Medevent Medical Services was established in 2006 and has grown into an experienced independent provider of medical services for public, private and commercial events.
We understand that no two events present exactly the same challenges. A school sports fixture has very different requirements from a 60,000 capacity festival, an air show or a multi-day commercial operation. That is why our approach starts with understanding your event rather than fitting it into a predetermined package.
We consider factors including attendance, audience demographics, activities, venue layout, access and egress, operating hours, local healthcare resources and identified risks before recommending the appropriate level of medical provision.

Effective event medical cover is about more than placing clinicians on site. Medical planning and risk assessment form part of every event or contract Medevent undertakes.
We consider the full event environment, including expected attendance, audience profile, activities, identified hazards, venue layout, access and egress, operating hours and available local healthcare resources.
From there, we determine the appropriate combination of clinicians, treatment facilities, emergency ambulances, response vehicles and operational support.
Where appropriate, Medevent can also attend Safety Advisory Group (SAG) meetings as part of the planning process, working alongside organisers, venues, local authorities and other relevant agencies.
This structured approach allows us to build the medical provision around the event itself, rather than applying a standard package.

We provide medical cover for events ranging from smaller local and private events through to major concerts, festivals and complex multi-day operations.
Our experience includes events with audiences from around 1,000 people to more than 60,000 attendees, but size alone does not determine the level of medical provision required.
A smaller motorsport event, for example, may require a higher level of clinical capability than a much larger lower-risk event. We therefore plan the medical provision around the individual event rather than simply the number of people attending.
The clinical team is selected according to the requirements and risk profile of the event.
Depending on what is needed, provision can include:

Higher-level clinical support can also be incorporated where appropriate, including independent prescribing capability.
Rather than supplying the same team for every event, we aim to provide an appropriate skill mix for the environment in which our clinicians will be working.
Medevent does not operate as an ambulance hire service. As part of the medical provision for every event or contract we cover, we provide fully equipped emergency ambulances capable of transporting patients.
These are provided alongside the appropriately qualified clinical teams and, where required, other emergency response vehicles and medical resources identified through the event planning process.
The exact combination of vehicles, clinicians and other resources is determined by the nature of the event, its risk profile, site layout, attendance and operational requirements.
Our approach is to provide a complete and appropriate medical service for the event rather than supplying individual vehicles in isolation.
